Traffic Management – King St. Closure
During construction of the Minto Street roundabout, King Street will be closed at its intersection with Main Street.
The following traffic management measures will be in place:
- Stop lights will manage east and west bound traffic at temporary signals
- King Street closed at Main Street to facilitate roundabout construction at Minto Road
- Local access maintained via adjacent side streets
- Detour route signs will direct through-traffic around the closure area
- Road closure signage in advance of the work zone
- Pedestrian access maintained where possible
Traffic Management – Toronto St. Closure
During construction of the Toronto Street roundabout, Toronto Street will be closed at its intersection with Main Street.
The following measures will be in effect:
- Stop lights for east and west bound traffic at temporary signals
- Toronto Street barricaded through from Main to a distance of approximately 70 metres
- Road closure signage posted along the detour route
- Local traffic access only — localized detour route
- Pedestrian access maintained with signed temporary walkways
- Emergency vehicle access coordinated with local services
